“The northeastern Montana town of Glasgow, not far from the Fort Peck Indian Reservation,— according to an algorithm — just about as far as you can get from anywhere. ” (Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post) For these “middle of nowhere” Valley County residents, MSU Extension is the passport to learning opportunities. The needs of our many-faceted clientele are being identified through immersion in the communities served. From agriculture producers learning new management techniques and marketing options to horticulturists becoming more self-sufficient; families building strength through education and youth being empowered to see themselves in their own futures, our diverse population is engaged in their own learning.
