WIBAUX COUNTY: GROWTH IS IN OUR FUTURE

Wibaux County’s population has maintained around 1,100 residents in the 890 square miles of the county. The major industries include farming and ranching, and some oil production on the county borders. The average household income for Wibaux residents is $47,132, a 15 percent growth increase from 2018. Currently 75 percent of Wibaux County acreage is farm and ranch production. Cover crops and pulse crops have been on the rise in production popularity in Wibaux County with a large majority of producers being beef cow/calf operators as well. Hunting is a large portion of Wibaux County as well with deer, antelope, and abundant amounts of coyotes.
