Powder River Trails: Benches and Bike racks

Powder River Trails, an organization created and managed by Powder River MSU Extension, continues to build an active transportation and healthy food systems in the community. A memorial bench program was initiated, creating more areas for pedestrians to rest along the trail and in the community. Ten memorial benches, created by a local builder, have been placed in the community. The benches memorialize historic residents of the community and use a historic element in the design, the windmill. Bike rack/tree protectors were placed along the town square and in front of the Library.
